Discover paradise in Punta de Mita!
Punta de Mita is a small, exclusive beach town located on the Pacific coast of Mexico. I have had the opportunity to travel here 3 times now and all were amazing trips and all a bit different. Like most travel destinations Punta De Mita, Puerta Vallarta has a number of things to offer travelers, from luxurious resorts, world-class golf courses, and beautiful natural scenery. There is a range of dining options, from casual beachside cafes to upscale restaurants serving gourmet cuisine. The town’s nightlife scene is also lively, with bars and clubs offering live music and entertainment. They have outdoor activates or settle for a more relaxing beautiful beach or poolside massage. The options are endless and available.

Accomodation options are endless in this area. You could stay in a large resort like, The Grand Mayan Nuevo Vallarta. Or do a smaller timeshare type place. Stay a luxuery hotel like the W Punta De Mita or rent a Airbnb or private residence like Casa China Blanca. Below are just some examples of places we have been lucky enough to stay in.

Puerta Vallarta has a number of fun things to do when visiting.
1. Visit the Malecon: The Malecon is a popular boardwalk that runs along the oceanfront in downtown Puerto Vallarta. It’s a great place to take a stroll, enjoy street performers, and take in the beautiful views of the ocean.
2. Explore Old Town: Old Town is the historic heart of Puerto Vallarta, with cobblestone streets, colorful buildings, and charming cafes and shops. It’s a great place to wander around and soak up the local culture.
3. Take a boat tour: There are several boat tours available in Puerto Vallarta, ranging from sunset cruises to snorkeling trips. Many tours offer the opportunity to see dolphins, whales, and other marine life.
4. Relax on the beach: Puerto Vallarta has several beautiful beaches to choose from, including Playa de los Muertos and Conchas Chinas Beach. Visitors can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and water activities such as kayaking and paddleboarding.
5. Zipline Adventure: Canopy River zipline tour, which takes visitors on a thrilling ride through the Sierra Madre Mountains. The tour includes several ziplines, including one that is over 1,200 feet long and 250 feet high! Visitors can also enjoy other activities such as rappelling, a suspension bridge, and a mule ride.
6. Visit Salyulita: Sayulita is a charming beach town located on the Pacific coast of Mexico, just north of Puerto Vallarta. A colorful and vibrant town with cobblestone streets, colorful buildings, and charming cafes and shops. It’s a great place to wander around and soak up the local culture.
7. ATV Adventure: Enjoy panoramic views over the Sierra Madre. Escape the city and encounter rugged jungle landscapes.
8. Go horseback riding: Visitors can take a horseback riding tour through the jungle or along the beach, with several local companies offering guided tours.
9. La Cofradia Tequila Factory: This distillery is located in the town of Tequila, about two hours’ drive from Puerto Vallarta. Visitors can take a guided tour of the factory and learn about the production process, followed by a tequila tasting that includes several varieties of La Cofradia tequila.
10. Check out the Crocodiles: Ask a local cab driver to take to see the crocodiles. The estuaries and lagoons around Puerto Vallarta and the Bay of Banderas are known to be home to crocodiles.
